A Chinese painting on silk of ladies in a pavilion garden, c.1800, in a late 19th century hongmu and mother of pearl frame, painting 53 x 35cm, frame 60 x 47cm
The painting on silk is slightly discoloured with some occasional minor staining in areas. Later mounted in a hongmu and mother-of-pearl inlaid frame which has slight gaps to the joints and a few missing areas of inlay at the corners. The back panel is loose and needs re-taping in position, lacking hanging brackets.
