GROUP OF SIX TO PRIVATE GRIFFITH RAMC 1914 Star Bar Trio to 6827 Pte G R Griffith RAMC, British War Medal to 6827 R G Griffith RAMC, Victory Medal to 6827 R G, Griffith RAMC, Defence Medal, 1953 Coronation Medal, GVI Special Constabulary Medal with long service bars 1951 and 1961; swing mounted as worn, condition GVF (notice initials on pair) Griffith R Griffith landed in France on the 16th August 1914. He served with the Royal Army Medical Corps, survived the War and was awarded a 1914 Star bar Trio. The bar is confirmed on his MIC and the roll. While serving as a Special Constable he was present at Kings Charles III investiture as the Prince of Wales in 1969.
