A framed George III 18th century tapestry needlepoint sampler by Hannah Horsfall, aged 13, dated 1785. Containing Bible verses, with marginal embellishments depicting deer, crowned lion, and Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden reaching from the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge. Some staining commensurate with age. Framed and glazed. Measures approx. 66cm x 54cm.
