A GROUP OF EIGHT VINTAGE CONTINENTAL 'COMMEDIA DELL'ARTE' MARIONETTE PUPPETS comprising eight different characters from the Italian-inspired street theatre performances of Commedie dell'arte to include characters Pantalone, Arlecchino (Harlequin), Pulcinella, Scapino, a possible Ruffiana, with hand-painted ceramic faces and limbs, possibly Spanish in origin based on the newspaper in the structure made to one leg, wood and sponge bodies, (8) (Condition Report: one marionette has a visibly broken leg and detached arm, could benefit from re-stringing)
