A British 1845 pattern infantry officer's sword the 32¾in. (83cm.) curved fullered steel blade etched with a crowned VR cypher within foliate decoration, marked to the forte "Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London", having a brass hilt incorporating a crowned VR cypher , wire bound fish skin grip and brass scabbard, 39¾in. (101cm.) overall length.
