A 17th century Spanish continental elm coffer blanket box chest. The trunk having hoop & clasp hinged top opening to reveal a spacious interior with allocated candle section. Split wire handles. Carved front with recessed fielded panels depicting stylised figures. Inverted arched apron below. Raised on squared supports. Measures approx. 176cm x 128cm x 64cm.
