A Worcester sparrow beak cream jug with grooved loop handle. Painted in the workshop of James Giles with puce monochrome flowers c.1765, 8cm. Cf. Stephen Hanscombe, James Giles China and Glass Painter (1718-80), no 29 for a similar cup from the Anthony Wood collection.
Glazed over firing crack to the spout. No damage or repair.
