TWO MID-18TH CENTURY CHINESE EXPORT BLUE AND WHITE AND CAFE-AU-LAIT GROUND TEABOWLS AND SAUCERS. Painted to the interiors with waved panels of huts on islands alternating with flower-sprays, the exteriors with cafe-au-lait ground (2)
One teabowl with restuck footrim chip approx. 1.3cm wide, with further very minor chipping to rims, some remnants of white plaster-like deposit to surface, all other pieces with some very light chipping to rims and overall wear to glaze, with a matt appearance (perhaps retrieved from a shipwreck, but no labels.)
