A rare and fine mid-16th century pewter dish, English, circa 1550
The plain rim with triangular beaded edge to the underside, and stamped to the front with a 'rowel and spur' mark, flanked by the blackletters W and M (?), gentle booge and prominent boss, traces of natures gilding, diameter 25.9cm
