1842 Cabul Medal named in upright capitals to Geo Arnold 31st Regt, replacement clip and suspension, good very fine. With 4 copied pages of service record, he enlisted in 67th Foot 6/7/24 aged 18, transferred to 69th Foot 25/9/24 and then 31st Foot 25/1/25, discharged 13/12/44 having suffered severely from dysentery and other diseases by which combined with climate and his hardships and fatigue and the campaign in Afghanistan have made hum unfit for further duties.
