ASPREY & COMPANY LTD - a George V malachite and silver-banded rectangular box, with shagreen covered base, width 77mm, hallmarks London 1920
Nice overall original condition, there are a couple of cracks through the malachite lid and body clearly visible, surface scratches (some deeper) and marks all consistent with age and use, silver is lightly tarnished and light wear all over, and there is a slight gap all the way round when closed. Maker's mark lightly rubbed. A slight gap between mounts and panels, but not loose. Interior shows general wear and scratching.
