A GROUP OF BOER WAR/FIRST WORLD WAR MINIATURES ATTRIBUTED TO CAPTAIN BOUGHTON.
A group of six miniatures comprising Boer War medal with Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal and 1901 clasps with 1914 Star with Aug-Nov clasp, War Medal, Victory medal, Territorial Force War Medal and Territorial Efficiency Medal.. With ribbon bar and Masonic award. With a photocopied image of the possible recipient and a letter from the War Office dated 12th May 1938 listing the military career of Captain John Williams Boughton from 4th Middlesex Rifle Corps in 1894 to a commission in the ASC during the Great War.
