Cantonese famille rose vase, mid 19th Century, with dragon handles, decorated with panels of figures against a ground of auspicious objects, height 23cm; also a Chinese blue ground vase with salamander shoulders, decorated with panels of warriors, height 25.5cm (2)
Baluster vase: One of the dragon handles has been off and restuck and has lost the tip of the tail and front right leg. The enamels on this vase are poorly fired and are strewn with spitbeck. The other vase has a tiny loss to the tip of the tail of one of the salamanders. Some wear to the floral decoration inside the neck and a rim frit. Small chip to the edge of the rim and the gilt line on the rim is all but worn away. No further damage detected.
