A fine quality 19th century French guitar, with bird's eye maple body, length of back 42 cm, pine sound-board with inlaid floral mother of pearl rosette, ebonised neck with white metal frets and mounts, the body with ivory beading, 90 cm long o/a, stamped indistinctly '_P_  a Paris'.

No cracks to sound-board, no losses to beading, but raised in places; veneer splits in maple back, overall condition good and commensurate wtih age, left hand curling tip of bridge missing (last 6mm)
