An 18th century English silver mounted Hunting hanger, retailed by 'Loxham At Ye Royal Exchange, indistinctly marked, possibly 1738 the straight single edge, single fuller blade with maker' stamp, over a Green Man mask decorated shell, lion's mask hilt with single quillon in the form of a native's head, the single bar guard with mask and anthemion decoration, single piece antler grip with Mephistopheles decorated back strap, together in a black leather scabbard with stippled retailers mark to throat and button decorated en suite, blade length 59.5cm.
