A large Doulton Burslem Luscian Ware Portland shape vase hand painted by Samuel Wilson, the shouldered ovoid body with everted neck and twin handles and hand painted in the round with wild grouse to a moorland setting below a relief past gilt floral pattern border with gilded neck, handles and foot, printed and painted marks, height 23cm.
Free from damage or restoration, there is some wear to the gilding on the upper neck and handles.
