J Kip - Engraving of Hampton Court 1709.

This copperplate engraving of Hampton Court in Herefordshire, the Seat of the Rt. Hon. Thomas Lord Coningesby, Baron of Clanbrazell in the Kingdom of Ireland & one of his Majesties Most Honourable Privy Councillors dated 1709.

It was drawn by Leonard Knyff and engraved by Jan Kip.

The engraving is originally from Britannia Illustrata or Views of Several of the Queen’s Palaces as also of the Principal Seats of the Nobility and Gentry of Great Britain Curiously Engraven on 80 Copper Plates. Printed for David Mortier at the Erasimus's Head in the Strand, London 1709.

Size: approx 14in x 20in (36cm x 51cm)Please note that this is a folding print as issued. .

The print is in good condition with centre fold as issued and narrow margins - please inspect the image carefully for any age related marks.
