A 19th century jasperware mounted gilt metal cylindrical jewel box, the push-fitting cover applied with a circular plaque, probably Wedgwood, sprigged in allusion to Diana the Huntress, ropetwist borders, velvet lined, 11.5cm diam, c.1870.
The jasper ware plaque has a couple of what appear to be small firing cracks. The metal box has general age related wear/tarnishing.
