SPECIALISED STUDY OF AIRMAIL INTERRUPTIONS: 1937-49 group showing a large variety of rates inc. higher express rates, service suspended marks, etc. Inc. 22 Oct. 1943 env. + contents from the Norwegian Air Force in London to Jonkoping franked 8d Pink cancelled by cds which was covered by censor's 'blackout' disc - however the censor missed the full sender's address on the back!; 1942/44 pair of envs. from GB to Sweden both with P.C.23 "RETURNED TO SENDER/BY THE CENSOR" labels & black boxed "POSTAGE/REFUNDED" hs's (mostly fine) on the front; pair of Nov./Dec. 1945 envs. from the undercover address for the Polish Army in London, both having 10d Blue + 1d Red cancelled by cds with "EXPRESS/EXPRES" & Luftpost labels; etc. Good lot.
