British 1888 pattern bayonet for Long Lee Enfield and Long Lee Metford rifles, 30cm blade by Sanderson, Sheffield, dated 9-97. Two-piece wooden grip. Pommel is regmentaly marked "9RS" and "986" Complete with steel-mounted leather scabbard, proof marks, plus "986" to throat of scabbard. 44cm long overall length.
