Tibor Reich (1916-1996) for Denby Pottery Tigo-Ware dish, circa 1950’s. Tibor was a Hungarian textile artist, creating Tigo-Ware in 1952 to co-ordinate alongside his deep textile works. Expressionist in style with scraffito technique to expose the white earthenware body beneath. Inspired by Hungarian folk art, re-interpreted in a 1950’s style. 27cm diameter.
