A VICTORIAN SILVER TROPHY CUP, foliate engraved decoration with beaded knop to pedestal and beaded circular foot, gilt interior, bears presentation inscription relating to the Robin Hood Rifles, 'Presented by Robert Haycock Esq' in 1873 'Won by Corporal H. Davis No.3 Company', maker Henry Holland, London 1873, approximate weight 13.5ozt, 421 grams, height 24cm, together with an envelope containing two newspaper cuttings relating to the retirement of Colour- Sergeant H.W. Davis and his achievements in rifle shooting competitions (condition: wobbles slightly when sitting on a level surface, gilt interior scratched and the interior base worn, some dints to interior rim and surface scratches)
