** TWO INDIA SHIP LETTERS: May 21 (?) 1834 'Free' letter Calcutta to London having Calcutta Ship Letter mark overstruck by boxed "LIVERPOOL/INDIA SHIP LR" mark. Endorsed "Pr [??] Webb". Crowned Free mark on front dated 21 Jan. 1835. Also 29 Apr. 1857 unfranked wrapper from Edinburgh to Calcutta with boxed "CALCUTTA/STEAM LETTER" arrival mark of 12 Jun. 1857. Scots local mark on front (Hanover Street) but no apparent charge mark. (2 covers)
