The case having central cartouche of repousse roses flanked by roundels to each side featuring clovers and thistles. Ribbon banner above to read 'The Revolving Needle Case' 'W. Avery & Sons, Redditch. Patent no. 1322. The revolving interior being intricately engraved with foliates. Measures 9cm length. From a large private collection.
