Charles I (1625-1649), AR Sixpence, Briot’s first Milled issue. Tower (London), mm: daisy over B on obv. - 1632. Crowned bust left; VI to right, rev. Royal arms over a cross moline. 3.00gm. (Brooker 719, same dies; North 2301; S.2855). Extremely Fine, area of weakness, traces of adjustment but very nicely toned with faint golden iridescence. Ex. V J E Ryan Col. (Glendinings 2nd part 22 January 1952).
