A modern album containing two Royal Naval-related items to the Christmas Islands – a paper programme for a local radio station and a men signed in 1958 by various officers, including a captain in the Royal Engineers and a lieutenant commander, as well as the port commander and others (see 1st photo). This album also contains a look back to the old British Empire – with approximately 56 Christmas cards from the services, including the Rifle Brigade, Association of Retired Naval Officers, HMS Wren (Persian Gulf Division, East Indies Station), HMS Vengeance, Liverpool Rifles, Queen’s Royal Lancers, HM Dockyard Bermuda, Yorkshire Light Infantry, the Grenadier Guards (see photo of the card opened – this one of the best examples ass not all have pictures), 7th Cancers, 29th Armoured Brigade, RAF Napal, 78th Infantry ~Brigade, Tank Corps 1918, and HMS Royal Sovereign. Most of the cards appear in good clean condition – but some have bumps and bruises.
