A rare and large 18th century sycamore and iron tobacco rasp
The linear pierced iron plate to grind and crush the dried tobacco leaves set within and raised above a sycamore paddle, with aperture at one end opening into a projecting small, rounded, shallow recess to empty the chamber, the rear with geometric incised and punched-decoration, length 32cm, width 10.5cm
