British 1788 Light Cavalry Sword with curved double fullered blade 800mm in length, maker marked on the spine of the blade "Wooley & Co". Brass guard. Shagreen grip. Overall length 930mm. Complete with leather scabbard with brass fittings. Twin suspension rings. Throat is engraved with original owners initials "WMW".
Blade is pitted and has been heavily cleaned. Some cracks and material loss to the leather scabbard.
