AN EIGHTEENTH CENTURY TEAPOT, probably produced in the 1760s or 1770s by an unknown maker, of globular form with domed cover surmounted by a pointed finial, painted with a puce pattern of flowers and foliage, unmarked, height 13cm (1) (Condition Report: appears in good overall condition, has a 6mm hairline running from the rim, minute shallow nibble/unglazed area on end of spout, similar tiny shallow chips to inside rim of cover, some scratches, gilding wear and gilding loss commensurate with age)
