B. Partridge, Jo Pennell, R. H. Moore, H. Railton, Hugh Thomson, C. Wilkinson, and W. Wilson, with a prefatory poem by Austin Dobson, numbered 54 of 100, full vellum with gilt decorations, vg, privately printed for Mr & Mrs F. T. Davies, 1891. This book is mooted as the first outing for one of Louis Wain's composite cat caricatures, 'A Night in Town,' although his 'Kittens Christmas Party' had appeared in the Illustrated London News in 1886. The book is a useful snapshot of the diverse artistic styles found at the time. A beautifully produced work.
