A Victorian ruby and diamond crescent brooch, set throughout with graduated rubies and eighteen graduated diamonds, all set in yellow and white metal, unmarked, weight 6.7gms, 3.5cm wide, within a case
Lacking the smallest of the graduated diamonds only eighteen (should be nineteen), would benefit from a good clean, tarnishing and surface scratching throughout, most notably to the reverse of the setting, a few of the claw settings are slightly distorted commensurate with age and wear and several stones sit with small gaps to the setting, the bar clip is functional, loop to the top lacking safety chain.
