St Anthony, 1527 A melon copper ingot Copper ingot, ‘bun-shape or hemi-spherical, weighing some 14kg, 15cm diameter. Recovered from the historic wreck of the St. Anthony, a ship belonging to the King of Portugal, which was wrecked in Gunwalloe Fishing Cove, Cornwall, in January 1527.
