A Victorian silver cigar case George Unite & Sons, Birmingham 1893, swirling foliate decoration, Chester crest and engraving to front, gilt interior, 13.5cm x 8.5cm, gross weight 6.99ozt
Hallmarks legible but slightly rubbed to high points, gilt interior a little tarnished with rubbed damaged underneath hinged cigar holder, holder hinge and hinge on case functioning well, good snap closure, case sits flush when shut, there is quite a deep dent to one corner, some tarnishing, the piece would benefit from a good clean, wear throughout commensurate with age and usage.
