A CHINA AND FIRST WORLD WAR GROUP OF FOUR TO THE ROYAL NAVY. A group of four comprising China War Medal 1900 without clasp named to C. Gall Ord H.MS. Dido, 1914-15 Star named to 193756 C. Gall A.B. R.N. War Medal and Victory Medal similarly named. Mounted for display with copied research. Charles Gall was born on the 2nd October 1881 at St Pancras, London. He joined the Royal Navy at Chatham on the 11th May 1897 aged 15 as a Boy 2nd Class. At the age of 18 he signed on for 12 yeas. He joined the Reserve in October 1911 and was mobilized in July 1914 and was pensioned in July 1922.
