A Japanese Satsuma porcelain charger, Meiji Period (1868-1912), of circular form and extensively decorated with an abundance of butterflies to the centre, surrounded by flower heads and a Greek key border, signed, 30.5cm wide

Fine crazing throughout. No obvious cracks, chips, or restoration. Gilt wear to the decoration is visible, especially to the borders and rim. Some general surface scratching and wear also visible.
