A Boer War three medal group awarded to: 4626 Private / Shoeing Smith W. Thorley, 5th Dragoon Guards. Comprising: Queen’s South Africa medal with 2 clasps Natal and Transvaal (4626 Pte W. Thorley, 5th Dragoon Guards) a King's South Africa medal with 2 clasps South Africa 1901 and South Africa 1902 (4626 SHG:STH W. Thorley 5th Drgn Gds), and an Edward VII Africa General Service medal, 1 clasp, Somaliland 1902-04 (5871 SHG:STH: W. Thorley 5th Drgn Gds). Campaign against the “Mad Mullah” 1902-04.
Reasonably good condition, edge bruising, light surface scratches as per photograph. Clasps in good order, ribbons secured by copper staples on cardboard.
