WITH "SHIP LETTER/PLYMOUTH"; Remarkable 8-14 May 1821 EL (minor toning) from a RM Major John Loddington in "Roseau, Dominica" to Cox & Co. in London sent by "[Ship] Ealing Grove, Captn. New" charged triple rate "4/9" with fine boxed "SHIP LETTER/PLYMOUTH" (crease) on the front; the letter counters detailed accusation of the writer having "literally Starved my wife" and instructing the bankers to pay her 5s-4d per day (£100 p.a.) in future.
