A PAIR OF VICTORIAN STAFFORDSHIRE POTTERY VAN AMBURGH LION AND LAMB FLATBACK MODELS, well moulded and coloured on oval gilt lined bases, 8 3/4" high (Illustrated) (Est. plus 24% premium inc. VAT)
One is cracked through body from just above lamb around its flanks and back down through back left leg to base and then runs across base. The other as a small firing crack just on front of the lamb, lambs ears/noses remarkably good. A few places where paint has flaked off, the backs are both covered in paint spots.
