A 1930s Gray-Stan glass vase, of footed fluted ovoid form, decorated in a graduated blue to clear ground with an applied blue trail rim to the conical foot, height 20cm, together with another Grey-Stan vase, of fluted squat ovoid form with everted neck, all in a pale green, height 16cm. (2)
Provenance – From the family collection of the late James Manning, senior glass blower and designer for Elizabeth Graydon Stannus of Gray-Stan Glass.
Both show signs of light surface wear commensurate with age, free from chips, cracks and repairs.
