GREAT WAR ‘MENTIONED IN DESPATCHES’ CERTIFICATE. Framed and glazed with WINSTON CHURCHILL Signature. Dated 16 March 1919. Throughout 1919 soldiers who had been mentioned in dispatches during World War I were honoured with certificates signed by the Secretary of State for war Winston S Churchill.
