More Information

A firing fault to the glaze on the base (see image) otherwise in good order commensurate with age.   The shape appears to be very refined and the decoration is very good.  Upon speaking to Chinese experts several have said that the item is actually mark and period Daoguang, the item is not perfect there is an original firing fault on the back and underside which is visible on the images on the website.  There is one other issue which is under ultraviolet light, a 1cm “hairline” can be seen emanating from the edge of the rim inwards (again stressing that this only really viewable under ultraviolet light and can’t be seen with the naked eye.
