A large Chinese porcelain bottle vase 19th / 20th century, ovoid body rising from recessed unglazed base to a slightly tapering cylindrical neck, having ruyi band with script, decorated in underglaze blue and iron red, painted with dragon amidst stylised clouds chasing flaming pearl, on a carved wooden openwork base, 14½in. (36.8cm.) wide, 21½in. (54.6cm.) high.
