comprising approximately thirty assorted documents spanning 1740-1820, mostly on official laid paper for routine orders, signatures include Hood, Keppel, St. Vincent, Haddock, Sidney Smith (French correspondence), Gambier and others, assorted hands and sizes; together with a bosuns pocketbook from Plymouth Dockyard c.1828 listing various crew names and jobs, one inscribed at present fitting the Adelaide, Morocco boards -- 3 x 4½in. (8 x 11.5cm.)
