An 18th Century Georgian (George III) Heavy Cavalry Officers transitional sword. Gilt lions head pommel with a D shaped knuckle guard and chequered bone grip. Double fullered broadsword blade marked to the ricasso H.K for Haynes & Kentish of Cornhill London (1790-1820). Housed in a copper gilt scabbard. Measures approx 105cm.
