THOMAS HODGE - (b.1827-d.1907) - Royal and Ancient Golf Club St Andrews Personality - head and shoulder portrait sketch almost certainly of "George Glennie" who was a very prominent golfer at St Andrews and Blackheath - c/w typed details below - image 2.5" x 2.25" overall 15" x 11.5". Note Royal Blackheath Golf Club honoured Glennie for his services as Secretary by having the George Glennie medal struck. Two medals were made one was sent to the Royal & Ancient for annual competition and one was kept by Blackheath, also for annual competition.
