A carved fruitwood study of Hermes, on square plinth base, H95cm
The staff in his left hand has been broken and partially repaired but will need some more attention, the left wrist appears to have been broken off and re-glued back on with a visible crack running through it, and just below his right elbow has a crack running through it and has broken off and been repaired, some of the parcel gilt decoration to the staff and orb is worn, general surface wear all consistent with age and use
