A slender 18th c painted fan, the leaf, showing figures at leisure in the countryside, mounted on white mother of pearl, silvered and gilded, the verso a simple depiction of a lady in the countryside, contained in a period coffin fan box, guard approx. 27cm.
Loss to the upper section of the lower guard, part of the leaf is missing at this point. Perhaps one stick missing, and damage/loss to two gorge sticks. £50 - 100
