AN 18TH CENTURY MAHOGANY ‘PAGODA’ HOOD CASED GRANDFATHER CLOCK, London, 1790. With arch-dial clock face, decorated with gilt painted urn and floral decoration, signed Gaze – London to the face, possibly James Gaze, working 1782 according to Britten’s Clocks & Watches. The back plate is also unusually signed ‘Gaze’ London. Condition: The clock is in working order, there are some minor blemishes to the case work as can be seen in the images. Dimensions: 97 x 18 x 9 inches (H x W x D).
