Preliminary sketch for the watercolour ‘City of Beauvais’. Dimensions: 24cm x 33.5cm approx. Similar composition appears in ‘Roadbook from London to Naples’ by William Brockledon in 1835. (ii) Verso ‘SKETCH OF RUSTIC COTTAGE”, graphite sketch, depicting rustic cottage with castles in background.
