the 13½in. hull carved from the solid with contrasting inlaid strake, finely carved polychrome figurehead, decorative stern, three masts with carved and painted sails with pencil lining and running rigging with box and tackle, mounted on moulded and painted sea off a lighthouse with painted cloudy sky backdrop within original glazed case for wall hanging with inlaid corners -- 18 x 32in. (46 x 81.5cm.)
Some rigging parted, some chips and discolouration to sea, frame with wear consistent with age.
